Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman: KUWAIT: a very wealthy country mainly from Oil. They do not allow alcohol anywhere so even if you stay at a 5-star hotel you won’t be able to order a glass of wine. All the restaurants are chain restaurants like Applebee’s, TJI Fridays, PF Chang’s, etc…..
Regency hotel is nice. Wouldn’t recommend Kuwait to go for an extended vacation, probably more of a place for business. BAHRAIN is an island with a bit of variety and some nice areas with some decent restaurants and hotels and nightlife.
Four Seasons hotel is the best and it’s a new unique building. MUSCAT OMAN has some interesting sites and the Chedi Hotel is a leading hotel of the world property and definitely worth staying at. 2 nights in Muscat is good.
The Ritz Carlton property is in a different area and has a really nice beach and a great restaurant on the sand. These three countries are all close to each other and a bit similar. If you have questions please let me know.
